Tradition with charm - how it all began!

On 15th May 1929 Jakob and Maria Nindl bought the "Ramolds-Mühle" in Kaprun. In the contract of sale, the following was imbedded:

"Gabriel Trixl is selling his guesthouse, house number 38 in Kaprun, complete with license to sell alcohol and all the business advantages including customers. The business was established and registered with the regional administration office in Zell am See, on January 10th 1929."

On 7th June 1947, Emmerenzia Nindl, nee Wieser, born in 1921 in Kuchl am Apfelkochgut, married Johann Nindl. The marriage produced six children - Gottfried, Hans, Maria, Waltraud, Josef and Alois, and later 17 grandchildren.

On 21st May 1979, Gottfried Nindl, having successfully completed his business studies in Innsbruck, married Monika, nee Metzler, from Bezau in Vorarlberg. The youngest generation consists of five children - Gottfried, Christian, Bernadette, Marlies and Johannes.

Tradition and innovation bind yesterday with today and thus the Mühle is still a successful Hotel, and has been run, with great energy and enthusiasm by Dr. Gottfried Nindl and his wife Monika since 1979.

For generations, the family run "Zur Mühle" has been the empitome of wonderful hospitality. The country style and rustic ambience, shapes the elegant framework of wellbeing and invites you to linger.
